Mental Distance
 The speaker him/herself and a person who the speaker feels is mentally close to him/her and their family should be always treated as “INSIDER”. A person who the speaker feels is mentally far from him/her. Adults you have met for the first time should be always treated as “OUTSIDER”. A person who has no special relation with either the speaker or the counterpart, in other words people in general are usually treated as “NEUTRAL”.  |
