|  “INSIDER” and “OUTSIDER” are not the concrete but relative concepts. The same person will be treated as an “INSIDER” or “OUTSIDER” in different situations. 
For example, mother-in-laws are treated as an “INSIDER” when she is with the speaker and a neighbor. However, the same person is usually treated as an “OUTSIDER” when she is with the speaker and his/her own mother, who is mentally closer to the speaker. |
